The New Museum has turned it's 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors over to Anri Sala, the Albanian born,(1974) internationally recognized as one of the most innovative artists of his generation. This is the most comprehensive survey of his work in the United States. His "Answer Me" features extensive multi-channel and audio installations that unfolds across the three floors, comprising a symphonic, beautiful, innovative and poignant experience. Each floor takes on a different feel reflective in the music, from the second floor with the modernist Arnold Schoenberg, to the third with a jazzy saxophone, and then the masterpiece (as far as I'm concerned) the "Ravel Ravel." The sound quality is amazing throughout. This is one of the most innovative moving museum/gallery shows that I have seen in some time. I plan to go back again.
