The French Institute presents "The Last Metro." The screening introduced by film journalist Anne-Katrin Titze, followed by complimentary wine and beer following the screening. Francois Truffaut's late masterpiece (1980) - is also the first of many pairing of Catherine Deneuve and Gerard Depardieu - weaves a web of secrets and deception into the nitty-gritty of everyday life under the Occupation, yielding one of the most evocative, convincing descriptions of the period.
