On the eve of Antonin Dvorak's birthday the Czech Center celebrates the 125th Anniversary of his arrival in America. The festive music offerings include; Dvorak's "Sonaatina for Violin and Piano," "Opus 100," written in New York and premiered by the composer's children, plus selected "Humoresques" for piano combined with readings from Joseph Kovarik's "Three Years with the Maestro." Enjoy rousing "Slavic Dances" for piano for four-hands. Featuring violinist Laura Jean Goldberg, pianist Moshe Knoll, musicologist and pianist Michael Beckerman, and more. RSVP required.
