Krzysztof Kreslowski's epic masterpiece originally made for Polish television, Dekalog focuses on residents of a housing complex in late-communist Poland. The series consists of ten hour-long films, drawing from the Ten Commandments for thematic inspiration. Shot by nine different cinematographers, with stirring music music by Zbigniew Preisner, and amazing acting performances by known and unknown actors.
