The New York International Fringe Festival (Fringe NYC), the largest multi-arts festival in North America, will present the 20th Annual Festival from August 12-28, 2016. This year includes 1,000 performances of 200 shows over the 16 days. The shows take place in fifteen  small downtown venues  and the pricing is inexpensive $18 general admission, with discounts in buying a series of tickets. Performing troupes from all over the world takes part, and she shows vary greatly in tone and creativity, from dramatic solo shows to crazy musicals. I have been going to Fringe since its inception, usually taking in 5 to 10 shows. Some are wonderful, others perhaps not so much . . but Fringe in a NYC tradition and not to be missed!!
