Anna Karina was only 19 years old when she met the director Jean-Luc Godard. She had arrived in Paris from her home in Copenhagen, penniless and on the streets - two years later she would be an in-demand model. After Godard cast her in "Le Petit Soldat," she quickly became a symbol of the French New Wave through her performances in Godard's films, and also his wife and muse. Their relationship was tumultuous and they divorced in 1965. However, they did seven films together, and critics for the most part were crazy for her. All seven films will be show at the Film Forum May 6-12. The films and dates follow: "Vivre Sa Vie" (May 6) "Alphaville" (May 7) "A Woman is a Woman" (May 8 and 11) "Le Petite Soldat" (May 9) "Made in USA" (May 10) "Band of Outsiders" (May 12) "Pierrot Le Fou" (May 12)
