Ever wonder why and how different cultures and traditions engage different body parts in their dance moves? Choreographer and dance educator Sarita Lou will take you on an interactive trip around the world of dance, sharing knowledge as well as brief video demonstrations. The 50 minute lecture-demonstration will be followed by a dance party to music from around the world, curated by World Music Institute's director Par Neiburger. Sarita Lou is a choreographer and dance educator. She is currently acting as Assistant Director on "The Color Purple" - the Broadway revival.
