Nominated for Best Foreign Film (Colombia - Directed by Ciro  Guerra) the movie has been extended in its run at Film Forum. Set in the lush very remote Colombian Amazon it tells the tales of two Western explorers, there respective "exploration" done thirty years apart. The film is beautifully shot in black and white, and fascinating. I found the film mesmerizing. Strongly recommend.
