The Romanian Cultural Institute in New York, in partnership with The Wild Horses of Sable Island Gallery and RA Entertainment presents a special event celebrating 140 years since the birth of Romanian sculpture Constantin Brancusi, a towering figure of 20th Century art. The reception will include a photography show by Robert Dutesco , a Romanian born, New York based multifaceted artist who became well known through his projects on the wild horses of Sable Island. Dutesco dedicated another major project to Brancusi's "Endless Column" from Targu Jiu, where he took snapshots of the monumental column for 24 hours continuously. The result of this "performance" is a series of 250 black &white photographs, many of which will be on display at the show.
