The dynamic Music Conductor Gustavo Dudamel and the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra perform at Carnegie Hall for three nights. October 7th presents four very colorful works based on the folk motifs of Russia, Venezuela, and Brazil. They include: Stravinsky's "Petrouchka," Villa-Lobos's "Bachianas brasilerias No. 2" Paul Desenne's "Hiponsis Mariposa, and Juan Carlos Nunez's "Selections from Tonadas de Simon Diaz." The orchestras will perform also on October 8th, and October 9th.
