The show "Lullaby. A Story about Maria Tanase" pays homage to the most famous Romanian singer, often compared to Edith Piaf. Maria Tanase represented Romania at the World's Fair in New York in 1939, where her success attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors. "Lulaby" revisits Maria Tanase's legacy and recreates her life visually. Archival letters, snippets of interviews, together with six of her most famous songs in Mirela Pana's interpretation will paint a fascinating portrait of the iconic singer.
